Update #1. Post-jam fixes and further plans.


Dear all, today, we released our first update for the Ante Anima. It contains a number of fixes for the issues that were found during the jam. Many thanks to all our players!

The custom mouse cursor in spell puzzles was improved, so we expect it to have fewer glitches. However, there could still be problems in specific browsers. We’ll continue working on this. Please don’t hesitate to report an issue. We improved the final puzzle and added hints that should help to understand how to solve it. SFX and ambiance were polished and tuned to make them more consistent.

As for the further development of the Ante Anima, we plan to continue working on it and make a full-fledged adventure game. In the subsequent updates, we plan to allow our players to explore the world and the story further on their quest to save the Plum Valley from the invading evil.

The journey ahead is long and exciting, and there’s no roadmap at the moment. But our immediate plans are to:

  1. Gradually expand the game world by developing current locations.
  2. Add more characters and quests in the Haru village.
  3. Add places around to explore.
  4. Introduce the game menu with save/load functionality.
